This WSJ article is discussing what many people in the world question. "Is the cell phone affecting people's health ?"
Many people have complained on having symptoms after using the cellphone for a large period of time.
Reporters are trying to inform the public on how there are no concrete evidence whether or not the cellphone causes health disorders. Such as: burning and tingling sensation in the skin of the head, fatigue, sleep disturbance, dizziness, cancer, between others.
The report also mentioned that the tropical weather of the country (in this case India) and scarcity of energy can possible correlate the effect of radiation produced by the cellphone to people. This possibly could be a reason by which people feel health disorders.
But the report wasn't conclusive, so nowadays we are unable to know the truth about this issue.
The report was informing to sides on the issue, the first one is telling us that there's no relation between health disorders and cell phones, and the second one is communicating to us a reason that can cause health disorder after using the cell phone.
Many people are scare, and are trying to be cautious by keeping cell phones away from children.
Are people just exaggerating? or should we all be worried about it?

This article is extremely fascinating because a lot people are worried about radiation in cell phones, but it is a topic that is barely talked about. A lot of people have stated facts that it is bad to talk on the phone while it is on the charger. Also that it is better to not talk with your phone to your ear, ands its better to use the speakerphone. From friends and family telling me these facts, which i am unsure if they are 100% true, i always feel guilty if i use my cell phone when its on the charger, and i always try to use speakerphone, because i am afraid of the possible radiation. They also make these stick ons, to put on the back of your phones that is supposed to absorb radiation.
The interesting part in this article is that they are attributing some of the negative aspects of the cell phone to the climate in India. I wonder if the climate truly has anything to do with it, or if they are saying that so that this report does not hurt the telecommunications industry. I wonder if a report comes out clearly proving the negative aspects of a cell phone on our health, how it would if affect this industry? I believe if they proved these negative factors, than the industry would have to research how to make cell phones safer. Than it might not be a technology race of who has the best APPS available but who has the safest phone possible.
